One of BECMA’s four pillars is to place Black residents in decision-making roles on federal, state and local boards and commissions to exert influence on how resources are deployed to underserved communities.
All placed members will be offered board training to ensure knowledge of board best practices.
If you are interested in being placed on a board or commission OR if you have an open board or commission seat and seek a recommendation from BECMA, please email policy@becma.org.
